Key West

November 30, 2015
Key West, Key West, already missing you!!!
Three weeks ago we had the chance to visit my family on this beautiful island. November is a great time to visit Key West, especially if you travel at the beginning of the month, after the Fantasy Fest. Tickets from Paris to Miami at this time of the year, are not so expensive and you can rent a car or take a Greyhound bus to get to Key West. We preferred to drive and we rented a car through a French website, since here the prices are lower than in the USA (Expedia or Rentalcars are good options). Driving down through the scenic Florida Keys from Miami takes about 4 hours. It is an amazing experience and a classic American road trip you need to do at least once in your life!

Key West is the southernmost city in the USA. Cuba at its closest point is only about 94 miles (151 kilometers) south! You will find many things to do on the island : snorkelling, sunset sails and other activities as well as walking down Duval Street and exploring the charming streets around.
We stayed for a week and had the time to enjoy my family and to visit most of the main attractions.  The Sunsets of Key West are some of the best I’ve ever seen, do not miss them!

Where to eat in Key West:

Five Brothers
Santiago’s Bodega
Origami Japanese Restaurant
Croissants de France

Tourist attractions in Key West:

– Southernmost Point
– Ernest Hemingway House
– Key West lighthouse
– Old Post Office and Customshouse
– Mallory Square
– Key West Garden Club

Houndstooth Top : Black , Red & White

November 1, 2015

I am really happy that November has finally arrived. In a few days we will be visiting my family in Florida and spending some time at the beach. In the meantime, I still enjoy the nice Sunny days here in Paris and chose to wear this outfit for a day out in the city. Houndstooth is making a cool comeback for fall, so I chose this top from Pepe Jeans and paired it with a trendy pair of Black pants. To highlight my petite figure, I wore this outfit with this classic Black heels.

MY OUTFIT:

Top Pepe Jeans
Pants Bebe
Bag Keneth Cole
Shoes Maje
Hat H&M
Accessories Hermes / H&M
