Birthday Celebration in Honfleur

Wow, time has gone by so fast! I still remember when I moved to France, at the age of 19, as if it were yesterday. I can’t believe just only a few days ago I celebrated my 28th birthday!
My husband surprised me with a weekend away and took me to Honfleur (so romantic!).
I slept in, opened presents, had an amazing time at the spa and went to visit the town of Honfleur.
This town is about a 2 hour drive from Paris -very cute, with many nice restaurants, little shops and a charming marina.
Unlucky for us, the weather was not great, but it didn’t stop us from enjoying the sites and walking around the small narrow streets lined with galleries and workshops.
We’ll definitely come back soon!

Wow ¡Como pasa el tiempo! Me acuerdo cuando me mudé a Francia, a los 19 años, como si fuera ayer. !No puedo creer que hace pocos días cumplí 28 años!
Mi esposo me sorprendió llevándome a pasar un fin de semana romántico en Honfleur. Descansé mucho, abrí algunos de mis regalos, disfruté del spa y de un masaje, y visité Honfleur.
Esta ciudad queda como a dos horas en auto desde París. Es una ciudad demasiada romántica y acogedora, llena de restaurantes, pequeños almacenes y con un puerto estupendo.
No tuvimos mucha suerte con el tiempo ya que había mucho viento y el día estaba gris. Sin embargo, nos dimos un paseo por las pequeñas calles admirando las galerías y los talleres.
