Key West, Key West, already missing you!!!
Three weeks ago we had the chance to visit my family on this beautiful island. November is a great time to visit Key West, especially if you travel at the beginning of the month, after the Fantasy Fest. Tickets from Paris to Miami at this time of the year, are not so expensive and you can rent a car or take a Greyhound bus to get to Key West. We preferred to drive and we rented a car through a French website, since here the prices are lower than in the USA (Expedia or Rentalcars are good options). Driving down through the scenic Florida Keys from Miami takes about 4 hours. It is an amazing experience and a classic American road trip you need to do at least once in your life!

Key West is the southernmost city in the USA. Cuba at its closest point is only about 94 miles (151 kilometers) south! You will find many things to do on the island : snorkelling, sunset sails and other activities as well as walking down Duval Street and exploring the charming streets around.
We stayed for a week and had the time to enjoy my family and to visit most of the main attractions. The Sunsets of Key West are some of the best I’ve ever seen, do not miss them!

A weekend escapade to Deauville & Trouville : White & Mint outfit

This past weekend the weather was great, so driving and spending some time in Normandy was the best idea for a weekend escapade. Deauville and Trouville are just 2 hours from Paris and these cities offer many activities for visitors! They are both very different and we love that. We first went for a walk through the charming streets of Trouville and found this lovely Lifestyle and Coffee shop called Villa Gypsy.

El fin de semana pasado el clima estuvo muy agradable lo cual nos incitó a pasar el fin de semana en Normandía y disfrutar de Deauville y de Trouville. ¡Estas dos ciudades quedan a dos horas de París y ofrecen muchas actividades a sus visitantes! Lo que nos encanta es que son muy diferentes y en las dos se puede disfrutar de la playa, casino y buenos restaurantes. Empezamos con una caminata por las calles pintorescas de Trouville y descubrimos esta cafetería y tienda de decoración de hogar llamada Villa Gypsy.

I loved the concept and history of this shop. The owners, a mother and a daughter, both passionate about home decoration and travelling opened this shop where you can enjoy a nice coffee with a pastry in a cozy environment and you can also buy items to decorate your house!

*Tip: For lunch you can try the Fishmarkets, everything is fresh and delicious!

El concepto y la historia de esta tienda y cafetería es muy interesante ya que las dueñas son una madre y su hija quienes tienen dos pasiones, los viajes y la decoración de interiores. Al entrar a esta tienda encontrarán muebles y artículos para decorar el hogar al igual que una cafetería muy acogedora en el fondo en donde podrán disfrutar de un café y de un delicioso postre

*Tip: Para el almuerzo pueden ir al famoso mercado de pescado ¡Los mariscos son deliciosos y frescos!

Also, walking up to the Notre-Dame-des-Victoire church, you will find beautiful and charming houses and will have an amazing view of the town.

También, al subir hacia la Iglesia de Notre-Dame-des-Victoires descubrirán casas estupendas y disfrutarán de una increíble vista de la ciudad.

On the other side, Deauville offers fun activities: the Casino, the beach, horse riding events, and many more. This town is so inspiring and romantic! The little park in front of the The Hôtel Le Normandy Deauville is one of my favorite spots for pictures. We will definitely come back soon and spend some more time in these two beautiful towns.

Del otro lado, se encuentra Deauville que al igual que Trouville ofrece varias actividades como el Casino, la playa, campeonatos de equitación y muchas más. ¡Esta ciudad es muy romántica e inspiradora! El parque que está en frente del Hotel Le Normandy Deauville es uno de mis lugares favoritos para tomar fotos. Regresaremos muy pronto pero con la idea de quedarnos más tiempo y disfrutar de todas las actividades en estas dos maravillosas ciudades

Striped Light Blue & White Pants

Happy Monday everyone!
I had a day off because here in France was Pentecost Monday (Lundi de Pentecôte) and since it is a legal holiday, many businesses are closed.
I spent my morning at home and later my hubby and I went for a walk around the 14th arrondissement in Paris where you can find one of the most beautiful and one of my favorite streets, the Rue des Thermopyles!
If you live in this capital or if you ever come to visit, do not forget to stop by this beautiful flowery cobblestone street where you will enjoy the French countryside atmosphere

Tuve el día libre ya que acá en Francia fue lunes de Pentecostés (Lundi de Pentecôte) y al ser un feriado legal, la mayoría de empresas cierran.
Pasé la mañana en casa y luego en la tarde salí a caminar con mi esposo por el 14th arrodissement de París en donde se encuentra una de las calles más hermosas y una de mis favoritas, ¡la Rue des Thermopyles!
Si viven en esta capital o si alguna vez vienen de visita, no olviden descubrir esta hermosa calle empedrada y llena de flores en donde se sentirán como en el campo
