December has finally arrived, so Wintertime will be here soon! It is important to hydrate your skin and lips using products that are suitable for your skin type. Personally, I have combination skin, which means that some parts of my skin are oiler and/or drier than other parts. I will share with you some Skin care tips and products which I’m using on a daily basis. I am 27 years old (soon 28 ay ay ay) therefore, some of the products that I use help prevent and diminish the look of early ageing. Also, it is important that you drink 1.5-2 liters of water and that you sleep at least 7 hours every day. This will help keep your skin looking radiant and more fresh.
¡Ya es diciembre! Lo que significa que el invierno está casi por llegar. Es importante que siempre hidraten su rostro y labios con productos adaptados a su tipo de piel, especialmente en esta época del año. Por mi parte, tengo la piel mixta entonces, mi piel tiende a brillar en ciertas zonas del rostro y en otras zonas mi piel es seca. Voy a compartir con ustedes los productos que uso para cuidar mi piel y algunos consejos para que siempre esté hidratada. Tengo 27 años (y ya casi 28 ay ay ay), entonces uso productos que me ayudan a prevenir los signos de envejecimiento. También, es importante y les recomiendo que tomen de 1.5 a 2 litros diarios y que duerman al menos 7 horas cada noche. Esto les ayudará a mantener una piel más sana y fresca, durante más tiempo.
I’ve been using The Avène Cleance Hydra for more that 6 months now! This cleansing cream is amazing and leaves your skin very smooth! If you have sensitive and oily skin, this product will help you hydrate and clean your skin without leaving it oily. I use it at day and night time!
Ya son más de 6 meses que llevo usando este jabón de la marca Avène. Me encanta este producto ya que es como una crema que al aplicarla y al retirarla con agua, deja la piel muy suave. Además, si tienen la piel sensible y mixta como la mía, les recomiendo usar este jabón, ya que limpia la piel, la hidrata y no la deja grasosa. Lo uso todos los días en la mañana y en la noche.
For my under eye area, I’ve been using the Kielh’s creamy eye treatment. This product has avocado oil so, it hydrates your under eye area, but it does not leave it greasy. This cream is very good for this time of the year when our skin becomes dry due to the weather.
Para la zona del contorno de mis ojos, aplico esta crema de la marca Kielh’s que contiene aceite de aguacate. Este producto ayuda a hidratar esta zona sin dejarla grasosa. Me encanta aplicar este producto durante esta temporada del año cuando la temperatura baja y nuestra piel tiende a resecarse.
I’ve been wanting to try the Estēe Lauder skin products and finally bought this Day Wear Cream with SPF 15. It is a very light cream and it smells good. Also, this product helps me prevent and diminish the look of early ageing. I only apply a small amount of it all over my face and leave it for 5 minutes before applying make-up. My face feels very smooth and fresh every morning after I use this cream.
Llevaba mucho tiempo queriendo usar los productos de la marca Estēe Lauder y finalmente decidí comprar esta crema para el día con SPF 15. Su textura es muy ligera y su olor muy suave. Además, este producto me ayuda a prevenir los signos del envejecimiento. Aplico solamente una pequeña cantidad en todo mi rostro y la dejo reposar durante 5 minutos antes de aplicar mi maquillaje. Mi piel queda muy suave y fresca cada mañana después de usar esta crema.
I use the Givenchy Hydra Sparkling cream for the nighttime. This product is like a gel and it hydrates your face while you sleep. I really like the smell and you can just add a small amount of it all over your face or use more product if you want to use it as a mask. I personally prefer to use it as a cream, so I just add a little amount of it because I have combination skin and I don’t want my skin to feel greasy the next day.
Para la noche, aplico esta crema de la marca Givenchy que es como un gel hidratante. Me gusta mucho la textura ya que la piel se siente muy fresca y su olor es muy agradable. Este producto se puede usar como hidratante para la noche si se aplica una cantidad normal en el rostro. También, puede servir como mascarilla, una o dos veces a la semana, si se aplica más producto en el rostro. Personalmente, prefiero usarla como crema de noche aplicando una pequeña cantidad ya que mi piel es mixta y lo que menos quiero es que esta amanezca grasosa al día siguiente.
Two other products that I use a lot are: Pestañil and Uriage Lip Balm.
Pestañil is very known in Ecuador and it is used to help your eyelashes thicker, stronger and make them grow faster. Personally, I use this product to remove waterproof mascara from my eyelashes. It is amazing how it removes completely the mascara without adding so much product. I rub gently and then clean it with a cotton pad. What I like is that my eyelashes are completely clean, but nourished with this product.
The Uriage Lip Balm is so far the best lip balm that I’ve used. It is very greasy and really helps your lips remain soft and healthy. I use it at night and day time whenever I feel that my lips start becoming dry. I definitely recommend this product, especially during Winter time!
Dos productos que también uso muy a menudo son: Pestañil y el Hidratante de labios Uriage.
Pestañil es una vaselina muy conocida en Ecuador que ayuda a que tus pestañas crezcan más largas. En lo personal, me encanta este producto ya que es muy económico y lo uso para desmaquillar mis ojos. Es increíble como este producto con sólo aplicarlo, frotarlo con movimientos suaves y retirarlo con un algodón, retira completamente el rímel de tus pestañas. Además, las fortalece, las nutre y las mantiene rizadas.
El hidratante de labios Uriage es el mejor producto de labios que he probado hasta ahora. Los hidrata y los mantiene muy suaves. Lo uso en las noches y durante el día cuando siento que mis labios comienzan a resecarse. ¡Les recomiendo este producto, especialmente durante el invierno!
